Hann of the Wood is the artwork of Kalamazoo-based artist/illustrator, Hannah Gregus. Hannah's work ranges from whimsical children's book illustrations to abstract imaginings, celebrating shape, pattern and color. She paints mostly with watercolor and gouache, but also enjoys experimenting with simple printmaking and fabric dyeing.

At Solo Ceramics, Liz transforms mud into functional art, creating pottery that embodies both comfort and elegance. Each piece is not just an object, but a connection to the earth and a tribute to centuries of artistic and cultural tradition. Through clay, she enjoys a therapeutic moment to immerse herself in the present. Yet, the clay challenges her to embrace the beauty of imperfection and unpredictability, as the clay becomes a dialogue between intention and spontaneity and echoes the intricate harmony of humanity, chemistry, and nature.

Liz invites you to find beauty in everyday ceramic items, or pleasure in her polymer clay jewelry--giving a modern twist to clay arts with contemporary aesthetics.

Robin Haag, sole creator/artist of State Bird Studio, located in Kalamazoo.  My papermaking journey began almost 30 years ago when I began taking classes at Kalamazoo Institute of Arts.  I continued with classes as I finally found  a medium that I loved and was actually good at! Work and parenting took me away from it for many years, but retirement has afforded me the opportunity to begin creating again. I enjoy every step of the process and look forward to letting more of my creative side come out.
